Saachien Curry House, Kota Kemuning
shared by Amy Chua
This morning (30 Jan), as usual my husband and I, we were having our
morning breakfast at Saachien Curry House in Kota Kemuning. We went in
separate cars as I will be going straight to work after breakfast. He
arrived Saachien 10 mins before me. As I parked my car
and walking towards the restaurant, I saw 2 guys hanging near the
parking area one on motorbike (small size and dark skin tone) and
another standing next to him (wearing specs, medium build and medium
skin tone). They were talking to each other but their eyes were looking
at my handbag I was carrying. That instant I have the feeling that these
two fella are up to something no good, so I quickly walk towards the
restaurant where my husband was sitting. I told him about these 2
suspicious guys and to stay alert. Seeing that my husband had finished
his nasi lemak, I told him to hold my handbag while I eat. When I was
eating, the specky guy that was hanging outside walk passed behind me
and went in the restaurant. As soon as he came out, from the corner of
my eyes I noticed that he changed his direction towards my husband and
tried to squeeze between the pillar and the place where my husband was
sitting. The minute I saw his movement walking towards my husband I know
that he’s up to something no good. So, I keep telling my husband to
stay alert. To tell you the truth I thought that they were after my
handbag that I was so worried about but it turned out that they had
earlier eyeing on my husband’s gold chain. He didn’t manage to take the
chain as my husband reaction was fast and managed to block his way.
Thanked God that we were so alert this morning as it just happened in
split of seconds. My husband shouted and tried to get hold of him but he
was too fast, he jumped onto the motorbike that was waiting outside and
sped off. We later found out from restaurant staff that cases been
rampant lately in Kota Kemuning (handbags, iphone, ipad etc)… To all
Kota Kemuning/Bukit Rimau residents, please stay alert at all time!!!
