Hi I would like to share an incident which happened to me yesterday night (15th August 2013, 10.20pm). I reside in PJ section 4. When I drove pass Kanna Curry House I realised theres a motorcycle following me from behind..couldnt see the number plate, but I could see theres a 'P' sticker beside the number plate. Somehow from my instinct he looked kinda suspicious so I continued driving until I turned into the main road Jalan Tandang, there were another 2 motorcycle parked at the roadside..I drove normally until i realised the first motorcycle 'teamed up' with the another 2 motorcycle and followed me from behind..I realised something is extremely wrong..I decided to try my luck and test whether were they really following me or what by making 3 rounds at the roundabout (near Topmark Toyota)..to my surprise..the 3 motorcycle followed me throughout the 3 rounds of roundabout..by then i realised it a do or die situation..I spam on my accelerator paddle and sped to the section 8 police station and kept honking..by the time i reached the police station the 3 motorcycle dispersed..

To all the drivers out there..pls do pay attention to your surroundings..its better to be safe than sorry..

This just happened outside my office at PJU 3/49, Sunway Technology Park, Sunway Damansara. A guy on a motorbike rode through the street slowly and stopped a few times to jot down something on a notepad. It seemed like he was recording all the car plate numbers. What could he be up to? I only managed to snap a photo when he stopped a little further away.

Dear all, thank you for your concern, calls and messages last night. For those who don’t already know, I fell victim to an attempted snatch theft yesterday evening which happened at the 4-way traffic light just outside of Publika (heading towards Jalan Duta). I was initially pretty shaken, but eventually made it home in one piece with just some small cuts on my hands & legs.

At about 6:20pm, two Malay males on a bike stopped right next to the passenger side of my car. My heart sank when I saw them looking in because I knew just what was about to happen. In a split second, they smashed my car window but thankfully, I managed to grab my bag & turn my body away just in time to avoid the glass from getting into my eyes. When I looked back, the bike had sped off and they had failed to steal anything from me.

The reason why I decided to write this is because I wanted people to know that of late, this area has been notorious in cases like mine. I say this because 2 of my girlfriends have also had their windows smashed on this very same road, so please get your windows security-tinted & be extra vigilant when you're in the Mont Kiara/ Solaris/ Hartamas/ Publika area. I was unlucky that I let my guard down yday but was fortunate enough to have escaped unharmed. Bottom line is, this could happen to anyone & no one can ever be too safe these days so stay alert & take care.

I stopped at a house in the road next to mine to ask for help but she said she wouldn't let strangers in and took my photo! Stay alert people....

15 July, 8.50pm near kelana sentral apartment, the u turn to Paradigm parking entrance. My bf driving us to Paradigm. As we approach the u turn, we saw a bunch of malay guys on motor without helmet coming out from a house nearby. At first we just ignore but we realize they're coming quite close to the point of hitting the back of our car. To our horror, we realize they're carrying some sort of tools looking like fire extinguisher and cangkul. They tailed us up to the paradigm parking entrance. My bf had to speed like a mad man to the parking. Another close smash and grab incident. I felt like im staying in some Gotham city..don't tell me we need to drive Batmobiles or kereta meriam to remain safe???!!

Witnessed an attempted robbery around 10pm just now. Was coming back from grocery shopping with husband, then as we were turning to the junction to go to 14/52 lane in pj, saw 3 bikes going in the same direction ahead of us. Husband thought it was the patrolling police, but my gut tells me something else. As we drove towards 14/52, suddenly those same bikes were driving back towards us, riders looked panicky and in a haste. Then in front of us a neighbor's car was in stationary mode with some of the bikers still around the car, in front of his/her house, blaring the honk like crazy, the gate was open with the maid holding a stick and an occupant of the house was there with their 3 dogs. When the drove towards us, I was so terriers that they would turn their attention to us. But luckily they passed us by. we drove down the lane but decided against going in to our house (it's quite a hilly area, it'll take a while just to get in). We also called the police to inform them of the situation. While waiting, So we kept on driving around the area, passed by Sri Aman school, and kept a look out. We also stopped and advise this one uncle waiting outside his house in 14/45 I think with his alphard to be watchful...as we drove back towards Sri Aman school road to get to our house, the same bikers were there...riding the opposite direction. I tried to get a good look at the plate numbers, unfortunately, ALL three bikes had their tail light off. There were 6 of them btw and all Malays. Then as we drove around again, we bumped into the patrol car we called for and gave some descriptions of the bikers. So they made their rounds just to be sure. So one thing for sure, I think these bikers will definitely try their luck again some other day. So folks around this area, please be mindful when u slow down or opening the gates. Most of them are opportunists. Especially around that hour. They know alot of people just came back from dinner, work or in ramadhan, perhaps coming back from tarawih. So do be careful!!

What I see:So shocking, I witnessed 2 motorcyclists performing the Mat Rempit stunt while driving on that road. The motorcyclist sat at the back seat was wavering PARANG/shouting seems like chasing the car in front of them. I don't know whether they r chasing their target/victims or not.

- My mother was robbed by 2 Malays who were riding a motorbike at about 12.30 noon. As soon as they saw my mother standing at her front gate, they just jumped down and threaten my mother by pointing a knife. Some jewelry and a hand phone were snatched away within seconds.
Please BEWARE..

ALERT: Ladies who are driving alone in KL please becareful. I was just being followed by a Malay motorcyclist earlier in Taipan Subang area for a good 15 minutes - TBK 8181. The whole time he was moving at the same pace as me and kept very close to my left. He kept looking at me the whole time when my car was stopped at the lights. I thought I had lost him when I sped up at the yellow light but 2 traffic lights later, he came right back on my left! I was stopped at another traffic light this time and the first thing that came to mind was to hold my honk as long as I could. Not sure if the other cars realised what was happening but it worked. As soon as I did that, he immediately left the scene. I do not know what his intention was. My bag was placed on the floor of my passenger seat but he did not try to break my window. Moral of the story: please be alert at all times! I shudder to think what could've happen if he actually followed me to my office.

near to ss25 TNB, witnessed 3 Malay motor rider (not racist) trying to rob a Kia with unknown model. Chased by bikers and they throw stone at our car when we keep horning to alert others. thanks god the police arrived efficiently but still unable to get any suspect. dear friends, please be careful n do not walk alone at.night!!

Just finished my breakfast at Sungei Way, time was 6.20am. Saw 8 highly suspicious rempits on 4 motorbikes. making rounds around SS1 bungalow area. Maybe preying on some joggers or whoever going out early from the house. Please take note if anyone staying around that area.

Just experienced this at 11am in PJ New Town 30/11/2012.

Just parked on the road behind Poh Kong and was getting down when a Chinese lady screamed that her bag is being snatched 20m away from me. As I looked at her, the brown skinned loned rider just zoomed past me & i couldn't do anything to help her (honestly wouldn't know what to do too!)

The n

umber plate on bike was broken. The lady kept running on the back lane chasing the bike but long gone for sure.

I met her near tnb office a few minutes later n asked if she was ok but she was badly shaken by the incident. Me who witnessed it was trembling for a long, long time.

She said she was carrying lots of cash as withdrew salary for the boss to pay out.

Most likely she was marked from the bank she went to and was followed.

It's really scary as at time of incident it was only us 3 there! What if the lady wasn't there??

Please stay on high alert at all times...
