Hi there , can u please share this news to everyone and remind them to be extra careful nowadays over and over again. It happened to my beloved sister, around 8-9pm, someone smashed her car window in Taman Megah, nearby fatty crab! That sucks! Nothing was stolen but just to make sure car seats left empty before leave the car.

At 7.15pm, my girlfriend just got into her car in front of a house opposite the badminton court, when suddenly a skinny Malay man in his early 20s appeared out of nowhere, opened the front passenger door and snatched her handbag before jumping onto the motorcycle with his accomplice already waiting for him behind.

The best part was, we went to SS2 police station to lodge a report but was "conveniently" redirected to Kelana Jaya police station instead. Because "Taman Megah terletak bawah kawasan Kelana Jaya" what the f***?????

PETALING JAYA IS NO LONGER A SAFE CITY. REMPITS AND BARISAN POLITICIANS ARE BOTH THE BIGGEST THIEVES.

Robbed While Having Breakfast at TAMAN MEGAH

My friend, got robbed at Taman Megah while having breakfast in a coffee shop this morning. Here's his wall post:

"I was just rob by 6 guys with Parang while having breakfast with Wilson in a coffee shop at Taman Megah at 7.15am in the morning. We are unhurt and they only manage to get my iphone. I have erased my phone and suspended my number. If you wish to contact me, please message me on FB. Looks like I won't be on Whatsapp until I get my new Samsung."

Further comments from the victim:
"Safety first. Security is very bad in Malaysia. If the coffee shop owners didnt fight back, I am sure the 6 buggers will take their own sweet time and help themselves to wallets and watches. Those buggers are huge. Bigger than any normal bouncers."

"This can happen to any coffee shop. They will send one guy in to access the situation. Then, the big guys with helmet will enter and wave their Parangs to warn you not to retaliate. Next, just give and pray for safety. The coffee shop is situated in Taman Megah same row with RHB."

"To be safe, just don't go to any shops with few customers. It can happen to Saloons, restaurants etc"

Was at a chinese restaurant opposite Ming Tien Food Court, Taman Megah, for dinner. While preparing to get into my car around 10.45pm, I noticed a couple of Indian men in a blue Proton Satria passing by me from the opposite direction and made a sudden U-turn and stopped behind my car. I quickly got into my car and drove off, with them tailing me for some distance until I am on the LDP. Did not manage to get a proper look at their license plate number. There have been a lot of crime happening around that food court area, and it saddens me that we have to be vigilant, expecting the worse to happen, instead of feeling secure around our neighbourhood. Recently, I was a victim of car break-in theft which happened at Ming Tien Foodcourt at Taman Megah on 28/11/12. Only a bag with non-valuable content was stolen. It was past midnight at that time, and also past heavy rain.

The theft broke the glass. If I had installed a motion sensor, the theft would activate t

he car alarm. The car alarm only work when someone try to force open a car door.

Made a police report at Kelana Jaya Police Station. People-in-uniforms were professional in their work. I overheard that he called two of his colleagues-on-petrol to check the area. And they took a photo of the broken glass. Also did a friendly chat with police there. Really nice people.

I was hesitate not to report to police since non-valuable items were stolen. I went instead just to make a report so that our government know what to do with the statistics.

Witnessed a group of snatch thieves. About 3.30pm, 4 indian guys on 2 motorcycles with parang in front of RHB bank Taman Megah PJ. They were trying to snatch from an uncle. First attempt failed, they went to the junction and turned back again. Not sure if second attempt succeeded or not. People from coffee shop threw plastic chairs on them but failed to stop them from running away.

Taman Megah - Beware of 3 snatch thieves on motorcycles circling around RHB bank / Fatty Crab road during daytime. They are usually there on Saturdays and Sundays looking for targets. Hard to catch them as they are only there for 5-10 mins and then go off to another place.

  Hi, I would like to share my case in Taman Megah as well.
  I arrived in Taman Megah at around 6pm+ on the 22nd of Oct. Parked my car at the road side parkng, in between the Futsal Court and the Da Ma Cai shop. The traffic light was just few parking lots away.
  
  I went to have dinner in Ming Tien and when I walked back to my car at 8pm+, I saw my backseat being folded and my back windscreen was broken. My backpack in the car bonnet was gone.
  
  I am driving a Persona, so the backseat can be folded to access the bonnet. I assume they climbed in through the broken window to release the level on both end of the seat and then take the bag in the bonnet. It was blocked by several big boxes too.
  
  I looked around and noticed there was a cafe nearby on the 2nd floor and the person there was looking down at me. Perhaps he saw something or the culprit must have been spying from above. Police told me that the thieves notice more on those wearing office wear. So people, please beware.
