Drama in SS2. Cops arrive in five minutes. Bomba takes 25 mins. Fortunately fire was put out in time. What was encouraging was neighbors all came out to help put out fire before the firemen came.

Hi, would like to share a snatch thief case encounter by my sister this morning.

June 26, morning around 6.15am. Snatch thief case, the row of shops opposite Taman Bahagia Lrt Station, behind Perodua showroom. One car (wira aeroback green or brown) stopped in front of her, 2 indian guy came out to snatch her backpack. Maybe they thought there is laptop inside but just changing clothes. Her chain was robbed as well. Robber used walkie talkie to hit her. Injured quite badly, whole face swollen and 10 stitches the back of her ear.

She called back after she manage to find a phone and I helped her to cancelled her credit card quite fast. But the bank informed that 2 of her credit card was already swiped 3 times at Shell SS3 just few minutes after she was robbed. Another attempt at another station around 7+am but by that time the card was already blocked. Should be a gang monitoring targets early in the morning around that area. Becareful

Around 6p.m just now,a friend of mine has witnessed a woman handbag has been snatched by 2 men in a motorcycle bearing plate no. wtk 3487..didn't manage to knock the thief down but already contact the police.the incident happened at SS2 pasar malam

Dear PJ Community,

My wife just encounter 2 indian dress up in green uniform suspected are RELA personnel around SS2 area at 9.50pm today. Asking for ID and driving licenses when she was driving alone. Lucky she just scroll down a little to ask what are her offences. They insisted her to step down but she was reluctant to do that. She insisted to go to the nearest police station. Finally, the 2 indian guy speed off on their motorbike. Just be cautious PJ folks and remember RELA has no rights to demand for ID unless they have Police around. Make sure they show you their ID as well.

My bf's SATRIA GTI (WGJ 709) got stolen last night around 3am at SS2 Murni.

Smart thief took about 20 mins to steal the car. They removed his boot key hole and went off.. Took 10 mins to duplicate the key before coming back and stole the car. The alarm went off but they opened the hood and dismantled it in 2 seconds before proceeding to fiddle around for 5 mins and finally driving off in front of us.

Any news please let us know. Thanks.

Wednesday 20th Feb., my neighbor who is a lady staying 4 doors away (House No. ..) was alone in her house at about 1-2pm when a man broke into her house from the front gate. The lady was at the back of the house when she heard some noises and she quickly went into a room and locked herself.

She called her sister to come back for help and when the sister came back, the man was still in the house and he walked out smiling at her sister but did not take anything. The things were packed but were still in the house.

Police came in 4 cars later after the man have left.

I am relating this to you so that you can be aware and record of another case of house break-in in broad daylight.

This intruder is a pleasant looking Malay man wearing a branded shirt and using a motorcycle.

Crime alert – Car vandalized

Please inform your neighbors.

A member noticed in the morning, his car parked inside the compound, the rear side window glass was broken and the stereo set and coins, missing. Police report was lodged.

Date /Time : 21st February 2013 between 1.00 am - 6.00 am.

Incident Street : Jalan SS2/2 Selatan, 47300 Seapark, Petaling Jaya.

There are many crimes, ALWAYS BE ALERT and adhere to the following:-

1) When you park your vehicles inside the compound or outside, ensure the alarm is armed.

2) Keep your house main gate clamp locked when possible. Also the front/back doors too.

3) Make sure your doors / grille are always locked, never leave it open, especially the grille.

Windows must be locked too. Never leave keys on the door.

4) At night, leave the lights on at the back / front porch.

Call the Control Centre, if you notice any suspicious character / vehicle in your area.

Just wanna post to alert ppl who live around pj ss2 area.

While my bf just about to drive his car to work, it just park right outside my house at ss2 area, then found out his power window was open, and some scratches beside the door.

Luckily he didn't put valuable things inside, just lost his battery bank and some cash (notes n coins). I think the thief was in a rush because the smart tag was still there.

I was afraid is the same gang who did the snatch cases around ss2 area. Please beware not to put any valuable things or begs inside.

Yesterday went to SS2 Pasar Malam...was looking at so mobile phone casing right in front the police station and was on the phone with my brother and suddeny a motor cyclist came from the wrong direction of the traffic and tried to grab my phone. I immediate grab tight of my phone and he fled off leaving me and a couple of passerby stunned for a few seconds. I still remember his face with white helmet and an almost identical clothing of a police uniform. Even though, it was a failed attempt. This msg is to remind all my friends and families. Please be extremely careful. Times are really bad and the governments are doing nothing about this plus wasting 3.5 M on PSY instead of making better use of OUR money~! I really missed the peaceful times where we can walk pasar malam without worrying abt any crime closeby. :-(

I would like to share my experience.

I been snatched and injured at Ss2 kopitiam (opposite KFC) yesterday (7 January). I knew that i will be walking beside the road so i switched my handband on my left hand facing towards the kopitiam. I was walking with my colleague front and back ( I was walking at front) we are only few inches away. The next second I fell on the floor and my bag were snatched. My colleague pull me up and I was bleeding heavily on my lips. I only heard kopitiam Staff said "again" in mandarin. No one came over to help. My car keys was in my bag so we have to walked to look for a clinic. Unfortunetely the direction given by the staffs working nearby are either false or the clinic is close. We ended up sitting at the new way building to wait for help. While walking to new way building we saw another Chinese woman being snatched in front of the police station. We believe is the same person. Thank god my other colleagues and my hubby arrived. After being treated at the nearby clinic we went to the police station. During my report I heard the officer said three incident happend on the same day and same location.

Lady just reached home and was just coming out of their car. A MyVi came, robber jumped out of car with parang, - shouted 'Jangan bising'. Snatched the handbag. Sped off. Happened very fast. No other details.

Just saw a snatch theft at Jalan SS2/67 again. Between Eu Yan Sang and BHP. Around 2.15pm. Motorcyclist in black and blue GIVI jacket. Couldn't see the number plate myself, but another passer by said that the plate read 757. Police have been alerted.

Witness the snatch thieves and almost become the victim of it @ LDP BHP Petrol Station near KDU.

As soon as me and my hubby stepped out from the car where he wanted to go to the counter to pay for petrol, and I wanted to go to the petrol shop to buy bun to eat... then suddenly surrounded by 2 motorcycles from Right and left! They circled us. They wearing reflective helmet and I am pregnant at 37weeks, carrying handbag, an easy target. I was so scare immediately I grap my husband tightly and he stare at them. One of the motorist still appology say, "Sorry sorry"... then we managed to rush inside the petrol shop.
After that they went to our car, they looked like they wanted to break the window but there was nothing valuable inside, then they tried to make one final attempt to grab an elder man's necklace chain who is just next to our car but (failed again) before they fled which then follow by another 2 more motorists speed off together from dont know where.

My friend's house got break in on the 08/11/12 at SS2. She is one of the tenants there. My friend lost a back pack and a bottle of perfume, laptop, hard disk, purse etc.They reported to the police and the police said the thief came in from the next door neighbor
(currently empty) and broke in from the sliding door at the living room. Before the incident, my friend did complaint to the landlord that some of the pad locks at the house need to be replaced due to wear and tear but the landlord just reluctant to change, saying that the area is very safe. My friend now is afraid to go home to sleep and is thinking of moving into a condo.
