Mugged near Brickfields

A friend’s husband just got robbed this morning in Jalan Abdul Samad, Brickfields.

He was on his way to KL Sentral at about 6am, walking opposite direction to the traffic and in the five-foot-way. A silver pick-up 4WD (just like the ones reported stolen here) with lights off moved in to the car parking bay and stopped right in front of him. Out jumped an Indian guy with parang (another Indian guy was at the wheel). The Indian guy punched my friend’s husband then demanded he hand over his small bag. He gave the guy the bag reluctantly and ask him to return him his IC etc. but the guy just snatch it. In the process his house/office keys and handphone dropped out. The guy didn’t see it (cos it was still dark) and jumped back into the 4WD and drove off.

Be careful everyone. It can happen anywhere and to anyone, even guys!
