This morning around 10am after my breakfeast @ Yu Yie Coffeeshop, Damansara Jaya, I drove my car and went into Rd SS 22/47 D.J. (Behind DJ Primary School) and discovered a Proton Saga - AGK 2688 parked behind DJROA Recycle Container. The 4 car tyres together with the rims were missing. I went down and checked the road tax disc missing from the front windscreen glass. Before I left for Damansara Police Station, I took photographs from different angle. At the reception counter of Damansara Police Station, I identified myself as Pengerusi, KRT SS 22B Damansara Jaya. The lady constable called IPD, PJ and found the said car was stolen on 03/'08/2013 and a police report have been lodged @ Kelana Jaya Police Station. I would post this news also in P J Community Alert.

ROBBERY AT MCDONALDS @ CITTA MALL [ARA DAMANSARA]

There was a snatch case at McDonalds @ Citta Mall at 6am Tuesday Morning. Not sure what happened after that.

There are so many guards around there guarding the entrance and exit of Citta Mall! Are we really relaxed that robbers & thieves are targeting our area (Ara Damansara) as easy prey?! Not to mention also that on August 5, Restoran Kapitan (Ara Damansara) was robbed AGAIN by a group of men with parang 4:45am in the morning! What has become to this place?! I remember the first time I shift in into Ara Damansara, it was a peace and safe place! Even robbers targeting our area! Please be VERY VERY careful!

A friend's friend almost robbed at Uptown DU just before noon 2day. 3 men on 2 m/bikes approached vic fr behind, fortunately he held on to his bag, struggled, they sped off. Sustained cut on hand. Robbers don't win all d time. Stay alert & be better off.

We saw an Indian couple, each holding a toddler in their arms, flagging for help next to Tropicana City Mall entrance at Damansara Kim.

I recently heard that an Indian couple was also spotted in mont kiara doing the same thing and some people were robbed after helping them.

Knowing this story, we didn't stop to offer any assistance because we were not sure if they are genuine. 10 mins later, this Indian couple was nowhere to be found.

Please be mindful of your surroundings. If ever in doubt, seek help from the nearest police station, especially if you are alone!

I feel I need to share mine too so that ladies are aware and be forewarned.

I used to read in the papers of people having this experience which is commonly called “pukau”.
This is what happened and it was at the Arcade at Cineleisure, E-Curve some time ago (before Ikano was named IPC).
I send my son for his music lesson and usually stay on for a movie. We had spare time about half hour before the movie start so we stopped by the arcade for some games. There weren’t many people. My son and his friend were playing the shooting game, the game machines being arranged in a row along the sides of the wall while I sat on a stool opposite them playing the ‘jewel matching’ game. I was not feeling well that evening having cough and fever, about 7pm and had taken my dosage of anti-biotics (this could have contributed to the weakened sense to what was about to happened).

My son called to me for additional coins to continue to play and our conversation may have attracted or alerted the ‘thief/con’ or whatever as I did not see him.

I had my handbag with the sling still on my shoulder and the bag resting on my lap as I played seated and my purse held with my left hand resting on the bag. In a moment, I smelled something like a mix of prayer incense, jasmine and perfume. It smelled very strong and I had the mind to think that how come there is this type of smell in this place.

Next moment, it was time to go and I went for my purse to take the movie tickets out and I could not find my purse. No where at all. Well, the hoolabaloo of searching and reporting followed.

For those who analyse that “how come the ‘smell’ does not affect the perpetrator” – that’s because it is being used by them to be directed to a “victim” – a set intention.
One cannot answer what one cannot comprehend.

I think Jessie Seng was very smart and to have acted bravely.

I tell myself and my friends to be alert and if you smell something like this, to look around and move out. And I’m sharing here as I want as many ladies to know and be aware. Not to be fearful and avoid your activities but be vigilant and know that these type of ‘crime method’ exist.

4 Parang Wielding Robbers, Chinese Man with (conversed in Cantonese) rushed into my home, Demanded for cash and gold, me father knew they needed to give them something if not there would be trouble, he obliged and gave them RM1,300 cash, and they had the audacity to say "why so little?" and locked my father, aunt in 1 room and my dog in the toilet, while 1 guy stood guard over my aunt and father, while the 3 guys ransacked my place for valuables, watches, foreign currency, electronics, carted my safe away, rummage through every single nook and cranny of my home. They took their sweet time to choose what they wanted. Even took one of our luggage's to carry the loot.

Be careful, never leave your door unlocked, or spend too much time doing laundry or gardening outside. Our neighborhood is no longer safe even with guards. Thank god they did not hurt my family but im sure they hit my dog cause he was in a daze when we found him.

juz now witnessed 2 malay/indon on a black color Kawasaki Ninja 150 try to open a car door while the lady driver juz finish refueling n getting in to her car, fortunately, she locked her car once getting into...every1 pls beware, it happened in around 9.15pm BHP Sri Damansara SD2, pls spread it out for ur friends n families safety!!! i believe there is a victim earlier, cuz can see the guy sitting behind wearing a lady's sling bag !!!

Wanted to share and warn others. Just now my husband went out with his friend to DU Maybank branch to bank in cheque. He stop his car and he notice a persona car stop nearby so he didn't go down. The car waited and went off and make U turn. My husband waited and notice that the car make U turn for a few times. So my husband starts his engine and went off.
Just be alert with your surrounding. Just only can inform the car model because the car plate no. very dark, hard to see.

Damansara Uptown Bogus Security Guard

Last week while I was having lunch with my colleague at damansara uptown, same row with this Village Park , there's this one skinny guy called my colleague aunty and asked for RM3 for lunch, he claimed that he's a security guard. He had this fluorescent vest with the word SECURITY printed on it, but not wearing it and asked us not to be afraid. We ignored him. He went and approached another woman, and to my surprise, that woman bought his story and gave him RM3. Please be alert!
