Taman Bahagia

Beware if You Work Late
Taman Bahagia - Followed and Attacked
21/4/12

Hi,

I just found out about this page. Just would like to share my experience though it was more than half a year ago.

I was driving back from working late on a weekend on 21/4/2012 (late Saturday night/early Sunday morning). I had asked my friend to pack for me food and I would have supper at their place on the way back. Their house is behind Taman Bahagia station at SS3 area. I remember clearly there was no car behind me when I turned in from the main road. However, when I entered the housing estate I noticed a silver waja with halogen lights following me from the back.

I parked in front of my friend house and the car drove past. By habit, I automatically locked my car after turning the engine off. A few seconds later I saw an Indian man walking to my car. The silver waja was parked at the side and another indian man was coming out from the car. The first Indian man tried to open my car door. When he knew it was locked he gestured to me to open it up. I said no and as I saw the other guy advancing, I started my engine and went off. They too ran to the car. As the housing area is pretty narrow, the couldn't reverse to follow my car after having parked at the side lane.

On hindsight, I think what I should have done is to blare the horns while driving off. I think getting attention is important in these situations, and always lock your car door. I know many people who don't, and they have faced the situation was in, the outcome might have been very different. Thank goodness they didn't come with a hammer and parang and immediately broke my window.

Anyway, just thought it should share this for ppl around that area to be weary about.
