Man Shot Dead - Klang
Newest update (Story revealed):
One person was shot dead in front of Hong Leong Bank, Jalan Kapar, Klang. Everyone please be careful!
This incident happened during 19th June, around 12.30pm. The manager, who was accompanied by a bodyguard and driver was leaving the bank in a car after withdrawing cash worth more than RM50,000, as it was the third time he withdrew cash from Public Bank at Jalan Goh Hock Huat. According to another witness, where he saw 5 suspicious people were wondering around Public Bank since morning for hours before the incident happened, it was believed that the robbers had nailed the manager after they saw him withdrew huge amount of money for several times. Before going back to his company, the manager felt suspicious and requested to drive around the bank and noticed that two cars are trailing them. The two cars, a brown color Proton Waja and black color Proton Wira Aeroback with five men inside, suddenly blocked the manager's car at the junction in front of Hong Leong Bank. One of the suspects came down and smashed the rear window. Without expecting that his body guard was armed, the suspect still able to evade the first shot but unfortunately was hit with the second one going through his left brain and passed away on the spot. The robbers fled empty handed after realizing one of them was shot dead.
However, plate number couldn't be seen from my side. Both car escaped in different direction, Proton Waja escaped through main road while Proton Wira through the back alley and the body guard continued his pursue by firing another 3 shots but the robbers still managed to escape.
According to Selangor CID Chief, SAC Mohd Adnan Abdullah, the suspect was 25-year-old, Indonesian man and police are now hot on the trail of the remaining four suspects, also believed to be Indonesians.
The case is being investigated under Section 393 of the Penal Code and Firearms Act 1971, Section 6.
