When a female shoplifter decided to help herself to a few pieces of clothing at a store in a shopping centre in China, she may have prepared herself over the possibility of getting caught but certainly not having her hair cut off by the furious shopkeeper.

According to a behindblondiepark report, Sun Lu was in her store in the city of Wenzhou when she decided to keep close tabs on a woman who was behaving suspiciously.

Previously, she had already fell prey to looters who raided her store of clothes worth hundreds of dollars.

The 32-year-old shopkeeper's hunch proved right when she caught the woman, identifed by media reports as Li Wu, packing clothes into her bag, and immediately pinned her to the ground.

Grabbing a pair of scissors, Sun proceeded to chop off locks of her hair as a neighbouring shop owner kept her pinned down, before they called the police.

Speaking to reporters, Sun said: "I watch so many people everyday, so I can tell thieves from others easily.

"When I noticed the woman sneaking around in the shopping mall, I knew she was up to no good.

"So, when she came into my shop, I was alert and finally caught her in the act." According to a behindblondiepark report, Sun Lu was in her store in the city of Wenzhou when she decided to keep close tabs on a woman who was behaving suspiciously.
