15 Jun – Malaysian-born actress Tong Bingyu revealed that she is now fine after the recent robbery that she experienced on her way to work.

In late May, the actress lost approximately RM 10,000 when she was robbed by a few men who stopped her while she was on her way from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore alone.

When she resisted, the actress was attacked, which led to get injured. She was then held back at the hospital for further inspection.

Recently, at the filming location of her new movie "Kick Ass Girls" in Malaysia, Tong assured everyone that she is fine, although she was worried at first that her injury will affect the filming progress.

"Luckily I recovered quite quickly, and I was able to hide the swollen areas with make-up," said the actress.

Tong also revealed that the film company had also arranged for two guards to protect her.

Her new movie with Chrissie Chau, "Kick Ass Girls", has just concluded filming and will begin its post-production process.
